The Fight Pits

A sunken ring of packed dirt and scarred stone at the heart of the Gauntlet, ringed by torches and crimson banners. Wooden dummies and weapon racks line the walls, and the sand never quite loses the smell of sweat. Here you can test yourself against the hall's sparring partners with nothing to lose but your pride. No blade draws real blood in the Pits. You will leave bruised, never broken.
