What these apps copy from Solo Leveling

In Solo Leveling, the web novel and anime, a weak hunter named Sung Jinwoo is given a System. It hands him daily quests, and he levels up by doing them. The apps below copy different parts of that idea:

  • Daily quests. Arise builds them from a workout plan, and Level Up Life gives you a set daily quest. In Dual and HabitForge you write your own. In Levla, your own habits and to-dos do that job.
  • Levels and ranks. Level Up Life takes you from E-Rank to S-Rank, and HabitForge from E-Rank to Shadow Monarch. Dual raises attributes and skills you choose. Levla has no ranks. It has levels in 18 skills.
  • Penalties. Level Up Life has a Penalty Quest if you miss a day. In Levla, a missed habit costs your hero nothing unless you choose to add a stake, where you risk something like coins or an item.

1. Levla

Our app

Best for: Real habits and to-dos that earn rewards for an RPG hero

Platforms
iPhone and Android, plus a web app for habits and to-dos
Price
Free; membership $5.99 a month, $49.99 a year or $99.99 lifetime

Levla isn't a copy of the System. Nobody hands you quests, and there are no ranks. You choose your own habits and to-dos, and each one you finish earns stamina (energy for adventures), XP (experience points) and coins.

Your hero spends the stamina on adventures of up to 12 hours while you're away: fighting monsters, clearing dungeons, gathering and crafting. XP levels up 18 skills. You can also follow quests in the game world, earn guild reputation and trade with other players.

Link a habit to a skill, and doing the habit in real life levels up that skill in the game. See how Levla compares with other level-up apps.

Level-up screen: Intelligence reaches level 51, with small boosts to magic damage and spell healing
A skill levels up and gives your hero small boosts.
Adventures screen with Fight, Dungeons, Gather and Train tabs, listing creatures like Shore Crabs, Dock Rats and Gulls with their levels, locations and XP
Your hero fights, clears dungeons, gathers and trains.

Strengths

  • A full habit tracker and to-do list
  • A real game world, with quests, dungeons, gear and guilds
  • Unlimited habits and to-dos for free, with no ads

Trade-offs

  • No ranks, and no System that gives you quests
  • Hand-drawn fantasy, not an anime look
  • Your hero fights while you're away, so you don't play the battles

2. Arise

Best for: Daily workout quests in the Solo Leveling style

Platforms
iPhone and Android
Price
Free download; Arise Pro subscription needed for workout plans and quests

Arise is the most popular app in this group, rated 4.6 from over 260,000 ratings on Google Play. You answer some questions, it builds a workout plan, and that plan becomes daily quests that earn rewards. It's for fitness only, not general habits or tasks.

Strengths

  • Personalized workout plans
  • Very popular and regularly updated

Trade-offs

  • Needs a subscription for its core features
  • Workouts only

3. Dual

Best for: A System for your own goals, on iPhone

Platforms
iPhone and Mac
Price
Free download; subscription $6.99 a month or $24.99 a year

Dual lets you build your own System from Journeys, Milestones and Quests. Quests raise the attributes you link them to, and time on its focus timer turns into skill XP. You spend coins and gems in a reward shop you fill yourself.

Strengths

  • Works for any goal, not just fitness
  • Skills that level up with time spent focusing
  • A reward shop you fill yourself

Trade-offs

  • iPhone and Mac only
  • Takes some setup

4. Level Up Life

Best for: Workout quests with ranks and penalties

Platforms
iPhone and Android
Price
Free download; optional in-app purchases

Level Up Life is a different app from Arise. It follows the show closely. Your camera counts push-ups, sit-ups and squats, GPS tracks your runs, and you climb from E-Rank to S-Rank. Miss a day and you get a Penalty Quest.

Strengths

  • The camera counts your reps
  • Close to the show's daily quest and ranks
  • Also covers focus sessions and habit logs

Trade-offs

  • Few reviews so far
  • Built around fitness first

5. HabitForge

Best for: A simple daily quest list with XP and streaks

Platforms
iPhone and Android
Price
Free download; Premium from $3.99 a month, or lifetime from $39.99

HabitForge is a habit tracker inspired by Solo Leveling's daily quests. You write your own quests, like push-ups or reading, and each one you finish earns XP toward ranks from E-Rank to Shadow Monarch. It also tracks streaks.

Strengths

  • Works for any habit
  • Streak bonuses, achievements and prestige ranks

Trade-offs

  • Very few reviews so far
  • No game world or character to play

How we chose

We included apps that use the ideas people like in Solo Leveling: daily quests, XP, levels or ranks. Each one was updated in the last few months, and we checked its platforms and prices against its store listing and website in November 2026. Levla is ours, so it's listed first, even though Arise and Dual are closer to the show.
